Mount Kilimanjaro is highest mountain standing Africa 19,340 feet, it is close to 6,000 metres it is because of the extreme altitude that Kilimanjaro is considered to be difficult to mount. Earlier this month following Matt Cutts (head of Google Web Spam) climbed Mount Kilimanjaro charity: water.
As just a tech geek I know this for a while, but to explain why Matt took this challenge trek which best to explain that he.
One thing I noticed when to practice hiking is that you are * always think about water *. How much do you need to do? You have enough water to last until you can reload your bottles?
Many people take water for granted. You turn on the tap, there. But this is not what it's like for the monde.Ils must think of water all the time.Walking miles to obtain .the transportant.Préoccupant is water safety.
45,000 people die each day from water-borne diseases. When you donate 100% of all donations go directly to projects in the water, and every donation is marked by Google Earth, where projects are completed.

Matt trained and has reached the Summit with two of his freinds. They then did something most people do: they camped the crater at the top of the crater Kilimandjaro.Le is very close to the Summit, so Matt was actually camping at 18,000 + m! from what I understand, it had many thermal and lots of sunscreen. But why Matt tells us he did this?
…A great advantage is that you time 6 + slog to the top of the day at the place of departure to minuit.Randonnée during the day is leagues better than during the night, to my avis.Le big advantage is that you get to explore the crater.

However, there are disadvantages to this approach trop.principalement lack of oxygen, the human body is not designed to do face without oxygen and given it has rare to this altitude, it is easy to see why some people are just opt to leave the top 20 minutes after getting them to start their people at this height descente.certaines may suffer acute mountain sickness (AMS / altitude sickness), and some people will be unfortunately suffer HAPE (high altitude pulmonary edema) or HACE (high Altitude Cerebral edema) .Although course AMS is usually summarized by most as a bad headache and its sick much, however, can get much pire.Quand it does, explains Matt that end up on what some guides jokingly call "Kilimanjaro Express".
Matt is not an "athlete" by any means, last year it has a few triathlons and for some time, this year for endurance training... but as many readers of this blog, it is simply a way guys who tried to adapt .Faire a triathlon for charity would probably a fairly hard target for anyone, but once it is completed looking for your next target, Matt was Mount Kilimandjaro.Dans his post Matt poses the ultimate question of whether anyone can Mount Kilimanjaro... it may come as a surprise to some, but the answer is "Yes", and here at cheaptents we agree with him.Basically as long as you can build your endurance that anyone can take the climb, which is actually more of a hike, as there is no climbing involved, unless you manage course take some obscure road.As Matt says, the issue is not can you but you want to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro?
If you intend to mount Mount Kilimanjaro, and then you can examine some of the tips below.
Some tips in case you decide to go:
-J ' have read many books of Kilimanjaro, and the best is first book by Henry Stedman.
-J ' have never walk with hiking poles, so I have not made almost no poles. do trust me: you should make hiking poles.Certainly, I recommend the FlickLock or USB lock on the "Twist tester to unlock" pole pole pole .these worked very well for me .j ' would opt for the black handles if you can, because the gray handles fairly obscure-search by the end of seven days.
-Obtain good shoes hike and their wear everywhere for a month or two.
-Take care of your lips with SPF 15 or 30 fps Baume or Chap Stick .j's regularly used Chap Stick SPF 4, but the Sun is much stronger at altitudes more élevées.Mes lips were pretty sunburnt at the end of the hike.
-We have flown in from Kilimanjaro international airport (JRO, but sometimes written as KIA) Amsterdam on KLM.Mais many people flew in Dar Es Salaam (DAR) via Dubai on Emirates.Les people we spoke to said that Emirates flights were very pleasant.
-You can hear the word "Mzungu".our guide told us that this means"guest", but a more literal translation would be "white person".Autant I could say, say it with much affection.
-Hiking at your own pace-ideally a slow and steady pace as you can keep for hours .it's the Kilimanjaro, not KilimaNascar.
-Throw in a safari, Tarangire National Park of Ngorongoro Crater or the Parc National de Serengeti.Tant you are in Africa, why don't you want to see things like this?Source: Matt Cutts Blog
